Opening a food-delivery app at the gentlest setting. The line changes with the time of day, how often you’ve opened the app today, and how many times you’ve talked your way past it this week.
How it works
- You pick the apps
- Choose apps and categories with Apple’s own picker, then sort them into buckets such as food delivery, shopping, or social. iOS never tells GoodBully which apps you picked — the buckets are how it knows what to say.
- It blocks instead of nagging
- A full-screen shield appears before the app opens, not a notification after the fact.
- You set how hard it hits
- Gentle, Blunt, or Brutal. It starts polite and only gets worse if you ask it to.
- There is a way out
- “Let me in anyway” lifts the shield for 15 minutes, an hour, or the rest of the day. GoodBully keeps count, and the count shows up in what it says next.
Privacy
GoodBully has no account, no servers, no analytics, and no ads. Your selections and counts stay on your iPhone.
Availability
GoodBully is in development and not yet on the App Store. It requires iOS 17 or later.
